Cluses UMVA<\/h2>\r\n\t <\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]Cluses First Aid Center<\/strong> (UMVA) is a center recognized by the Regional Health Agence (ARS) set up in 2013 to preserve an emergency reception structure<\/strong> within the Clusian basin and the Vall\u00e9e de l\u2019Arve.<\/p>\n

The independent center, created by the local medical team aims<\/strong> to welcome patients suffering form acute traumatic and medical pathologies.<\/p>\n

Having changed its name several times, the UMVA has over 20 years of experience. First named “Clinique de l\u2019Esp\u00e9rance<\/strong>“, then “Clinique de Cluses<\/strong>“, then “Clinique du Mont Blanc”<\/strong> and finally “Clinique des Grandes Alpes<\/strong>“, it adopted the name of UMVA in 2013.<\/p>\n

The UMVA welcomes patients from the Arve Valley, the mountains and the surrounding ski resorts.<\/p>\n

The privileged geographical location makes it possible to relieve the emergencies of the surrounding hospitals<\/strong> (in mostly those of Sallanches and Annemasse), in particular during the winter season, by welcoming the ski accident victims<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Its establishment in the industrial area of \u200b\u200bbar turning has gradually enabled the medical team to specialize in the management of work accidents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The medical team<\/h2>\r\n\t <\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]We are a\u00a0multidisciplinary team<\/strong>\u00a0led by 5 emergency doctor specialized and experienced in\u00a0trauma and medical emergencies <\/strong>and 6 nurses trained in emergency medicine.<\/p>\n

We are able to accommodate trauma and medical emergencies from 8 am. to 10 pm. every day, including Sundays and holidays<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We work in collaboration with the\u00a0radiology department<\/strong>\u00a0equipped with a scanner, in order to manage various traumas, without having to handle the patient too many times.<\/p>\n

We are also specialized in the treatment of sportsmen\u2019s pathologies due to our proximity to the surrounding mountain sports stations.<\/p>\n

We also have the possibility to carry out\u00a0biological analyzes<\/strong>, via\u00a0the Mirialis medical analysis laboratory<\/strong>\u00a0located in Cluses for medical emergencies.[\/vc_column_text]\r\n
